TWO men have appeared in court after police seized £1.4m of heroin.
Paul Channer, aged 47, of Vernham Road, Woolwich, and 39-year-old Barry Channer, of Azof Street, Greenwich, appeared at Thames Magistrates' Court.
They are charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs and possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
Police from the Met's special projects team arrested the men on July 22 on the A12 near the Blackwall Tunnel.
The two men were remanded in custody to appear at Kingston Crown Court on October 6.
