COMPANIES are being invited to an open evening where they can find out how to bid for Bromley Council maintenance contracts.
The new contracts will cover maintenance of council-owned properties for work including boiler servicing and gas safety, flooring and metalwork.
Each one will vary in value between £50,000 and £300,000 and be subject to a pre-qualification process to select the most suitable contractors to tender.
The chance to bid has become available because the existing single contract expires in the autumn and Bromley Council has decided to break down the contract into smaller trade specific areas.
Interested businesses can find out more at a contract open evening in the large hall at Bromley Central Library in the High Street from 6pm to 8pm on August 6.
