ARCHITECTURAL plans showing the final phase of the Ramsden estate’s revival will go on display to the public tomorrow (July 30).
The designs for 54 homes will be showcased at the event at the Church of Unity, Rye Crescent, Orpington, from 2pm to 8pm.
Proposals for the site include 12 two bedroom homes, 24 three bedroom homes and eight four bedroom homes for affordable rent.
The proposal also includes five two bedroom homes and five three bedroom homes for shared ownership.
This is the third phase of the Ramsden redevelopment project with the first phase being completed in 2004 and phase two in 2006.
A detailed planning application is due to be submitted to Bromley Council at the end of September.
If approved, work would start in February or March next year and be completed in 2012.
Representatives from architects Karakusevic Carson and Broomleigh Housing Association will be on hand to get feedback from residents and also answer any concerns.
Broomleigh’s head of housing Sue Cooper said: “This is an exciting point in the regeneration of Ramsden and we’re delighted to show residents the new homes on their way.
“We would also welcome their feedback before we submit the scheme for planning.”
