CROWDS flocked to a nine-day programme of summer events on a town’s green.
The Beckenham Summer Festival laid on a mini funfair, a display of snakes, lizards and spiders from local animal sanctuary Beaver Water World, and a host of other stalls and attractions between July 25 and August 2.
Town centre manager Nicola Musto said: “I am committed to making sure that we have a vibrant and thriving town centre.
“With a fantastic village atmosphere there was a chance to purchase fine food from local traders and enjoy excellent entertainment.”
The festival on Beckenham Green and in nearby St George’s Church also saw Punch and Judy shows, teddy bear picnics and music concerts.
