AN ANNUAL walking festival will feature more than a dozen trails for people of all ages and abilities.
The Green Chain Walking Festival will run from September 12 until September 20 in the boroughs of Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich, Lewisham and Southwark.
Free events include woodland rambles, park walks, architecture trails, heritage talks, story walks as well as an evening bat walk.
All walks are circular and can be easily reached by public transport.
The Green Chain runs from Crystal Palace to Erith and the Thames Barrier to Chislehurst, with 40 miles of footpaths linking 300 open spaces in south-east London.
