PEOPLE who have recently lost their jobs can get free advice and training.
The Response to Redundancy programme is being rolled out across Bromley, Bexley, Greenwich and Lewisham.
It is a service which will give people who have lost their jobs, those at risk of unemployment and companies considering making redundancies, advice and training.
Training includes workshops exploring different careers, CV writing, interview techniques and counselling skills.
It is being delivered by Prospects Professional Training and Consultancy (PPTC), on behalf of the Learning and Skills Council and the European Social Fund, which is making £100m available across the country to boost skills for individuals.
The workshops will start in August and as funding is limited, individuals and organisations are advised to register their interest as soon as possible to ensure a free place.
