CHILDREN and adults will be able to enjoy fun activities and events at a shopping centre this summer.

The Glades in Bromley town centre is teaming up with charitable trust Bromley Mytime to offer a free programme of sports, crafts, dancing and drama for children until August 28. Marketing manager Maria Cooper said: “We know mums and dads will be delighted to hear we have once again got plenty planned to keep children happy through the long summer holidays.”

On August 24 and August 25 The Glades will host an All Stars art exhibition on behalf of the children’s ward of the Princess Royal University Hospital, Farnborough, along with live music and storytelling sessions.

The exhibition will display artwork created by young patients as well as their doctors, nurses and support staff to raise money for art materials and sensory equipment.

There will also be plenty for adults including free food and drink tastings at some of The Glades’ eateries between 11am and 2pm on Friday (July 31) and August 28 and free photographs from Viva La Foto’s every Wednesday next month.
