RESIDENTS flocked to a park for a national event aimed at bringing the community together.
People living on the Royal Arsenal estate in Woolwich came together on July 19 for a fun day as part of the Eden Project’s nationwide Big Lunch initiative.
Visitors enjoyed a fun filled afternoon at nearby Wellington Park with music and activities, including face painting, a bouncy castle, sack races and massage.
Neighbours also brought along home-cooked dishes for others to try.
The event was one of hundreds of Big Lunches across the country.
