A LOTTERY to help fund a hospice’s annual running costs will have its first draw this week.
Greenwich and Bexley Cottage Hospice in Bostall Hill, Abbey Wood, is giving people the chance to win a jackpot of £1,000, as well as 40 other cash prizes.
The first weekly draw will take place next Friday (July 31) and anyone over the age of 16 can sign-up for just £2.
The money raised will help the hospice care for people with life threatening illnesses in Bexley and Greenwich as well as offering support to their carers and family members.
Lottery Manager Stacey Booth said: “The lottery will help us to continue to provide the level of care to the people of Greenwich and Bexley who need it most."
