YOUNGSTERS designed rugs and Nepalese paper crafts as part of a fair trade competition.
The winning designs will be displayed at Greenwich and Spitalfields markets later this year and help promote fair trade awareness.
Judging took place at Cator Park School for Girls in Lennard Road, Beckenham, on July 15.
Assistant head teacher Sally Kelly said: “We believe passionately in the fair trade ideal, as well as understanding the importance of improving the quality of life through education.
“The girls at Cator Park have thoroughly enjoyed being involved in the project and loved working with the beautiful hand made paper.”
The competition was organised by the Comolongmo organisation which promotes Nepalese rugs produced by the Kumbeshwar Technical School based in Patan, Nepal.
