PUBLIC INSPECTION AND AUDIT OF ACCOUNTS FOR THE YEAR ENDING 31ST MARCH 2009
AUDIT COMMISSION ACT 1998, SECTION 15 ACCOUNTS AND AUDIT REGULATIONS 2003 REGULATIONS 14, 16 AND 17
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that from MONDAY 10TH AUGUST 2009 to MONDAY 7TH SEPTEMBER 2009 any person interested may, between 10am and 4pm Monday to Friday, inspect and make copies of the accounts of the London Borough of Bromley for the year ended 31st March 2009 and all books, deeds, contracts, bills, vouchers and receipts relating thereto. The accounts and other documents will be available for inspection at the main reception area, Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley BR1 3UH, at which they are normally kept or otherwise by arrangement.
AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that the External Auditor, Mrs Janet Dawson, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, 80, Strand, London, WC2R 0AF. (telephone: 020 7583 5000) has appointed TUESDAY 8TH SEPTEMBER 2009 at 10am at Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley BR1 3UH as the date on or after which and the place where any local government elector in the area or his representative may be present before the External Auditor and may question or make objection to the accounts of the Council of the London Borough of Bromley and of their Committees and officers for the year ended 31st March 2009. No objection may be made unless the External Auditor has previously received written notice of the objection and the grounds on which it is to be made. A copy of the notice must also be sent to The Director of Resources, London Borough of Bromley, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley BR1 3UH.
