OIL paintings, pastels, photographs and sculptures are only some of the art on display at an exhibition currently on show in Bexley.
The open art exhibition by members of Centrepieces, a mental health art project is on show until Sunday (26th) at The Stables Gallery at Hall Place, Bourne Road, Bexley.
The project is based at the Crayford Centre, run by Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust which deals with mental healthcare in Bexley.
All the artists in Centrepieces have experienced mental illness and the quality of their artwork has won national recognition.
The group also tries to dispel the stigma attached to mental illness by working in projects with local schools and community groups.
Their exhibition includes portraits, landscapes and abstract work and some work explores the experience of living with mental illness.
The exhibition is open from 10am until 5pm and 11am to 5pm on Sunday.
