THOUSANDS of people headed to the Horniman Museum on Sunday (July 19) for a festival of food, music and dance.
Visitors to Fusion Fest enjoyed music from jazz, eastern European, Indian music, to reggae, pop and R&B, there was an arts and crafts area for the kids and dance workshops.
The museum’s chief executive Janet Vitmayer, said: “Some 3,000 people came to the Horniman on Sunday for a fantastic afternoon of world music, dance, food and crafts.
“It was wonderful to see so many people getting involved with the Salsa, Indian and African dance workshops and making fabulous art and craft creations or just relaxing and enjoying the entertainment and surroundings.
“We’re looking forward to an action-filled activity programme in the museum and gardens this summer, including the Jerk Cookout on Sunday, August 9.”
