CHILDREN have had fun at an animal rescue centre’s country fair.
The fair took place at Foal Farm Animal Rescue Centre in Biggin Hill, on July 19.
As well as a bouncy castle, face painting, teacup ride and tombola, there was also live music from several bands including a band called Second Hour.
Crowds of more than 1,000 were also entertained by a dog show.
The event is annual and this year the cash raised is going towards the centre’s SOUND appeal.
The appeal stands for Save Our Non Destruct, and is all about raising cash to treat ill animals.
Lee Michelle Richards, who works for the centre said: “We have a non destruct policy here at Foal Farm and will support any animals with any existing medical problems.”
Money raised at the event is still being counted.
