WORKERS at a quarry were shocked this morning to find a Second World War bomb.
The bomb was found at 8.50am at Lafarge Aggregates in Crossways Boulevard, Greenhithe.
Police attended and a 100m cordon was put in place as a safety precaution.
Bomb disposal experts were alerted and at 11.10am they carried out a controlled explosion on the device.
