A TALENT show and exhibition of work by more than 70 students has shown the way for a new creative and media diploma being introduced into Bexley schools in September.
The project involved students from Bexleyheath, Erith and Trinity Schools and the Bexley Business Academy, working with a variety of outside specialists.
They were able to choose which subject from performance, technical theatre and art/media they wanted to develop further.
Those who chose performance worked with Reynolds Performing Arts to develop skills such as dance and drama.
At Rose Bruford College, those who chose technical theatre, learned about aspects such as production sound and lighting.
Meanwhile those who chose art/media worked with the London College of Communication designing posters and publicity material for the show and exhibition.
Their work culminated in the All Star talent show and exhibition at Rose Bruford College in Burnt Oak Lane, Sidcup.
The six new diplomas being introduced in Bexley in September, will enable students to spend half their time on practical projects in the workplace.
