VISITORS to a fun day at a school helped raise £1,500 for a local autism charity.
The Bromley Autistic Trust held its annual event at Green Street Green Primary School, entertaining autistic children and their families with magicians, stalls and a disco.
The charity’s deputy chief executive Hayley Gilham said: “There is over a thousand families on our books who have a child with autism.
“These kind of events help to raise awareness of autism and the work the trust does providing free services to people with autism and their families.”
Anthony Ghosh, aka DJ Talent and star of TV show Britain’s Got Talent, provided the day’s musical entertainment for around 200 visitors to the school in Vine Road, Green Street Green, on July 11.
