A 28-YEAR-OLD man has been given a 180-day jail term after admitting burgling an art gallery.
Daniel Crawley, of Woolf Close, Thamesmead, was sentenced at Dartford Magistrates’ Court. He pleaded guilty to one count of burglary.
The court heard he broke into the volunteer-run What If gallery in Dartford High Street on June 12 and stole £220, a mobile phone and a painting.
Crawley was also given a 90-day jail term for breaching a community order, giving him a total of 270 days in prison.
He was also sentenced to 120 days in prison for stealing from a chemist in Longfield, to run concurrently with the 270 days.
