POLICE were forced to move a group of travellers off a car park in Coney Hall yesterday (March 15).
The group moved onto land at the old All Saints School in Layhams Road early yesterday morning (July 15).
The local safer neighbourhood team told the travellers to move on after explaining they were in breach of a court order barring them from stopping on the land.
By 4am this morning (July 16), the last of the travellers had left the site.
In April, News Shopper reported five caravans had moved onto the same patch of privately owned land.
The landowners successfully instructed their solicitors to apply for a court order which still applies to the land.
