A CHARITY for deaf people is holding a free hearing aid maintenance session.
Hi Kent, which works with the deaf and hard-of-hearing throughout the county, is running the clinic at St Michael’s Church, Church Hill, Wilmington, from 10am to 11.30am next Thursday (July 23).
People with NHS hearing aids can drop in and get them cleaned and re-tubed, and also collect fresh batteries free of charge.
Hi Kent chief executive John Clayton said: “We are looking forward to helping Wilmington’s hearing aid users.
“There is no need to make an appointment. People should just turn up and they will be seen quickly.”
