SMALLER companies will be able to have the chance to bid for maintenance contracts when the existing single contract expires in autumn.
This opportunity has become available because Bromley Council is breaking down the single contract into smaller trade specific areas.
The new contracts will cover maintenance of council owned properties for work including boiler servicing and gas safety, flooring and metalwork amongst others.
Each one will vary in value between £50k and £300k and be subject to a pre-qualification process to select the most suitable contractors to tender.
Interested businesses can find out more at a contract open evening in the large hall at Bromley Central Library, High Street, Bromley, on August 6 at 8pm.
