POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an assault in which a black man was attacked by two white men.
The 26-year-old victim was punched in the face and fell to the floor, hitting his head, in Clive Road, Gravesend, between 10.40pm and 11.20pm on June 27.
He was attacked by the two men after asking them which bus would take him to Dartford, and before the assault took place the two men were seen with another man and a woman.
When he came round following the assault, he was given a tissue by a large black man wearing a smart suit.
A police spokeswoman said police are “interested in speaking to this man or to anyone who can help with their inquiries to identify the two male offenders”.
The first attacker was in his early 20s, around 5ft 6in with a medium build, white cropped hair, clean-shaven face with dark eyes, and wearing a white short-sleeved T-shirt, light blue jeans and trainers.
The second attacker was in his early 20s, around 6ft with an average build, white cropped hair, and wearing blue jeans, a T-shirt and trainers.
