ENVIRONMENTALLY conscious residents have the chance to keep their streets clean.
Bromley Council is looking for people who wish to become ‘street friends’.
Residents who are interested will be helping the council to spot things which are making the area look untidy, such as dumped rubbish, faulty street lights, graffiti, and road and pavement problems.
‘Street friends’ also have the chance to talk to the council about getting together with neighbours to clean up a local area.
You will be given everything you need such as the equipment, contractors and graffiti removal kits.
If you are interested in becoming a ‘street friend’ you should leave your contact details by calling street services on 020 8313 4621 or email street.services@bromley.gov.uk.
