A BABY toddled his way round a 5km race to raise money for charity.
Charlie Kavanagh, of Turner Avenue, Biggin Hill, did a 45 minute warm up before completing the first kilometre on his own, although his dad James, 23, had him on his reigns.
The 17-month-old then went in the pram for a bit before walking and running the last 1.5km of the Run for Moore race in Blackheath.
His proud mum Hannah Pryce, 21, said: “They completed it in a total of 56 minutes which is fantastic considering Charlie is only one and has much smaller legs than everyone else so it takes him a lot more steps.
“Charlie is a very active child and I think he covers 5km just running round the house each day.”
So far he has collected more than £200 in sponsorship for the Bobby Moore Fund which will go towards bowel cancer research.
