A COMMUNITY group is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its graffiti removal group.
The Blackheath Society set up the group in 1999 to tackle the problem which members claim has blighted the area’s environment.
Volunteers meet on the first Saturday of every month in Blackheath station car park, at 2.30pm.
A group spokesman said: “As long as spray cans are so easily available there will probably always be some graffiti, but we don’t have to accept it any more than we shopuld accept litter on our streets. It has to go.”
