A SCHOOL which prides itself on being green was visited by an Olympic cyclist.
Pupils from Stillness Infant School, in Brockley Rise, Forest Hill, showed gold medallist Victoria Pendleton what the school has done to help the environment.
MP for Lewisham Deptford Joan Ruddock also joined the tour, on July 10, which included a look at the school’s wildlife area and solar panels.
The event was part of EDF Energy’s national Green Britain Day which hopes to encourage more people to live greener lifestyles.
School headteacher Alison McClelland said: “Our pupils have been truly inspirational in their commitment towards building a greener future, both for themselves, and generations to come.”
