THREE groups of young people are going head to head to decide which of their schools has the most talented pupils.
Jon Hunter, head of creative arts at Kemnal Technology College organised a talent contest involving some of the schools in its Kemnal Trust.
Each of the schools taking part - Kemnal in Sevenoaks Way on the Sidcup/St Paul’s Cray borders, Welling School in Elsa Road, Welling and Debden Park High School in Loughton, Essex, have all been holding their separate heats of the competition.
And the top four acts from each school were chosen by a panel of judges.
At Kemnal, which will host the finals on Tuesday (July 14), 60 hopefuls took to the stage in acts which included magicians, comedians, singers, dancers, a steel band and an impressionist.
The final will be judged by mystery celebrities and there are cash prizes for the winners.
