THE summer festival organised by Greenwich and Bexley Cottage Hospice was just one of the events organised locally to celebrate National Hospice Awareness Month.
The yellow-themed festival was held in Bexleyheath Broadway and was packed with stalls, sideshows and fun activities.
There were lots of bargains to be had on the market stalls or shoppers could just relax with a cuppa and some home baked cakes.
Children had fun on the bouncy castle or competed for prizes on stalls such as the cuddly toy tombola and hook-a-duck.
The event raised £3,000 for the hospice in Bostall Hill, Abbey Wood.
The hospice’s next fundraiser is on Sunday (July 12) when it hosts its annual fun day on the Bostall Heath field in Bostall Hill from 1pm to 5pm.
