STUDENTS have taken over a shop at Bluewater to showcase work produced from their design and technology classes.
Bosses at the shopping centre were so impressed, they even asked the pupils from Leigh Technology College, Green Street Green Road, Dartford, to build a car and call it Bluewater.
Three hundred people came along on the first day, and the exhibition has been such a success it is expected to remain open for another week.
Everything from electric cars to boats, cushions to handbags and even canopes and cakes, all made by the students, are on display.
Director of learning for technology Steve Leahey said: “People don’t know an awful lot about what goes on in secondary schools.
“It was a real eye opener in terms of the type of products we’re involved in.”
