A CENTRE offering oxygen therapy has held an open day to raise much-needed funds and introduce people to services on offer.
The the Swanley Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Unit in Park Road uses oxygen to treat multiple sclerosis (MS), cerebral palsy and autism.
It also helps people recover from strokes and sports injuries, with users including footballers from Crystal Palace and Millwall.
Around £900 was raised for the centre, to go towards building two new therapy rooms.
Two signed Crystal Palace shirts are also being auctioned, which people can bid for by calling the centre on 01322 663042 or by emailing suns.development@btconnect.com
However as a silent auction, which closes at 5pm on July 20, people are not aware of amounts bid by other people.
The centre’s development manager Julie Partridge said of the open day: “We raised money, got new members and they were the main objectives of the day.”
