CHILDREN jumped for joy on a sun soaked beach at a Caribbean themed school fete in West Wickham.
Twenty tonnes of sand was put on the field at Oak Lodge School, Chamberlain Crescent, to create the main focal point for the event.
There was also a steel drum band, rum punch stall and more traditional attractions including a tombola.
The event was named We’re Going C’Oak o-nuts and more than 1,000 people attended, raising around £20,000 for the school.
Event spokesman Jacky McGloin said: ““We decided to do the Caribbean this year because last year the beach was so successful.
“Oak Lodge has a bit of a reputation for being a bit of a big fete so watch this space for the next spectacular because it will be another big one.”
