VISITORS to a summer fete were forced to do a double-take when an Only Fools and Horses star and Hollywood actress appeared to have paid a visit to a shopping centre.
Uncle Albert and Marilyn Monroe lookalikes were just two of the attractions on offer at the Orpington Summer fete on July 3, 4 and 5.
Shoppers in the high street and Walnuts shopping centre were also treated to fairground rides, amusements and a variety of stall holders including argentine beef specialists and bee keepers.
Centre manager at the Walnuts Martin Price said: “The summer fete proved to be a real success and was heaving with people who had turned out to enjoy all our entertainment and fun.
“We are looking forward to delivering an even bigger and better event to the town next year.”
