A SERIES of art exhibitions will help showcase entries to a Darwin-themed competition.
Selected entries to Creative Bromley, a painting, photographic and poetry competition organised by Bromley Council, will be on display at the Ripley Arts Centre in Sundridge Avenue, Bromley.
The year’s theme is based on Charles Darwin and entries will be on display on July 14 and July 20 between 9am and 12pm.
Parks partnership officer Penny Read said: “We were delighted with the number of diverse entries we received again this year.
“The panel of expert judges found it interesting to see how entrants had interpreted the brief in creating their masterpiece.
“In doing so we hoped that artists would learn something about the work of Darwin.”
Creative Bromley is part of the Celebrate Bromley campaign which showcases the work residents, businesses and community groups do to improve green spaces.
