I went to see Jack and the Beanstalk. It was on in the Broadway Theatre, Catford. It was all about what happened when Jack found a beanstalk in his garden that grew there from some magic beans.
He got the beans from a fairy when he was on his way to the market to sell Daisy. Daisy was the name of the cow. Daisy played lots of tricks on Jack's brother, Simple Simon. It was very funny when she did raspberries. When she did her silly dance it was so funny I nearly jumped out of my seat. The giant's helper pretended to be an old man and Jack thought he could help sell Daisy. That was the bit where everyone had to say: "Oh no he isn't. Oh yes he is." It was great fun.
Some of the people who were acting the ladies were men and some of the people who were acting the men were ladies. They were all very good. My mummy thought the lady who acted the fairy was a very good singer.
