POLICE have today arrested a sixth person in connection with the murder of private detective Daniel Morgan in Sydenham more than 20 years ago.
The Met Police have confirmed a 50-year-old woman is being questioned in connection with the death of Mr Morgan.
A spokesman said: “The woman is being interviewed on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.”
Four men have already been charged with Mr Morgan’s murder.
The 37-year-old father-of-two was found with an axe in his head in the car park of the Golden Lion pub in Sydenham Road on March 10, 1987.
A fifth man has been charged with perverting the course of justice.
All five are due to appear at the Old Bailey on October 5.
