A “little black child” is “zis seasons's vardrobe essential”, Brüno tells us, as the news comes through that Madonna has succeeded in her bid to add another “fashion accessory” to her collection.
To complete her metamorphosis into Brüno she has one final task to undertake. She, like Brüno, has to enrage the studio audience of a Jerry Springer-style discussion programme by introducing them to the black baby that’s been adopted as a fashion accessory while stating "I gave him a traditional African name: OJ".
Sarcasm aside, I totally agree with Anna Feuchtwang, the Chief Executive of the charity EveryChild that the decision to overturn the original court refusal to let Madonna adopt this child is “disappointing and worrying on a number of levels”. Madonna did not meet any of the adoption requirements of the country that she was trying to remove this child from (Malawi), yet just carried on throwing money around until she finally got her way.
Madonna really is a revolting, vile and immoral creature who is the epitome of all that is wrong with the nouveau riche.
