BECKENHAM WI move into the summer season, looking forward to the outings and social events to come.
We have enjoyed good speakers and debated the decline of the UK honey bee at our resolutions evening.
A party of members went to the public halls to see We Meet Again, a celebration of the music and comedy of the 1940s performed by the local theatre company BADS, which featured one of our members.
Our biggest production to date is the birth of baby Alice who made an appearance in May, by kind permission of mother Bev.
Our youngest member, we have already enrolled Alice as a future member.
We welcome all new members at our small and friendly women’s institute.
