OUR speaker was Hilary Newman and his subject was Gardening In Dry Conditions.
His talk was supported by excellent slides and lots of ideas for new plants to try.
The evening also included the Istead Rise Photography Show.
The event was well supported and entries were praised for their high quality.
Our next meeting is on May 12 and will be a Resolution Meeting.
We meet at the Memorial Hall in Lewis Road at 7.30pm. Visitors are always welcome.
