CROWDS have already started gathering outside the News Shopper office in Petts Wood for the People’s Plinth auditions.
News Shopper has secured a two-hour slot on the People’s Plinth in Trafalgar Square and is looking for people to perform on it.
Open auditions are being held in the car park outside Mega House in Crest View Drive.
A shortlist of potential candidates for the plinth will be chosen by a News Shopper panel of judges and put forward for a one-day “plinth bootcamp” followed by an Apprentice boardroom-style “stand-off” after which just one candidate will be left standing.
Anyone who thinks they have what it takes to stand on a raised platform in front of large crowds of people can come and try out on the News Shopper practice plinth today.
