Today I am heading into central London to sit some exams towards a senior journalism qualification, and I have gone and left my lunch in the fridge at work.
I can't believe it.. I plan ahead with food and then forget it.
If I just buy a sandwich or something near the exam centre I'll end up spending at least £4 which seems a waste.
So instead I have raided my cupboards at home for packed lunch material.
I am making do with cold pasta and pesto in a nice plastic tub, and a box of cooking sultanas.
So classy.
I am resigned to the fact that I will be buying some more emergency chocolate for the quick sugar fixes I'll need throughout the day.
And then this evening after the exam I will have to go to the supermarket to replenish my food stocks.
Anyone in the office who wants my lunch- help yourselves.
