To save money, instead of catching one direct train to work taking 12-25 minutes I'm now catching two trains taking 40 minutes in total.. if they run on time.

I'm pretty fed up with my new travel plan already... cancellations, late running trains etc.

It's not like I'm new to cancellations, just it's even tougher trying to co-ordinate two trains.

Did anyone see a slightly crazed girl running exceedingly fast and unladylike up and down the platforms on Bromley South station this afternoon?

That would have been me, determined to catch my connecting train with only a minute between them.

The train driver had his head out the window and had a good chuckle as he watched me leap at the open door.
