HOW the Rob Nox murder case unfolded:
May 17, 2008: Rob Knox and friends fight with Karl Bishop outside the Metro Bar following an argument over Bishop's mobile phone.
May 23, 11.50pm: Bishop is beaten up outside the bar following an argument with Mr Knox's friend Sammy Mehmet.
May 24, 12am: Jamie Knox and friends are confronted by Bishop with a knife outside Tesco Express.
May 24: Rob Knox and five friends are stabbed by Karl Bishop following a fight outside the Metro Bar.
May 26: Sally and Colin Knox visit the scene and mark their son's death by warning about the dangers of knife crme.
May 27: Karl Bishop appears at Bexleyheath Magistrates' Court charged with murder and five counts of wounding with intent.
May 27: Police meet residents in Station Road to discuss crime.
May 28: The Metro Bar is closed for one week.
June 5: Sidcup Community Church in Station Road holds a public meeting for residents to voice their concerns.
June 25: Mr Knox's funeral is held at Eltham Crematorium in Crown Woods Way, Eltham, followed by a memorial service at St John the Evangelist Church, Church Road, Sidcup, attended by hundreds of people.
June 26: Review of Metro Bar's alcohol licence with conditions imposed including door entry metal scanners and a ban on under-18s in the bar after 10pm.
July: Mr Knox receives a posthumous award for bravery from north Kent police.
July 21: Friends hold a memorial football match at the GBFC ground in Eltham Green Road, Eltham.
Feb 9: Trial of Karl Bishop begins at the Old Bailey.
Feb 27: Bishop gives evidence at the trial and insists he was attacked.
Mar 2: Old Bailey jury retires to consider its verdict.
Mar 4: Jury finds Karl Bishop guilty of murder.
