A SPONSORED walk has raised around £700 for a cystic fibrosis charity.
Money raised by the 14-mile walk from Bromley South to Biggin Hill and back will go to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, which has a branch in London Road, Bromley.
Fify-eight year old Janet Yates, of Mounthurst Road, Hayes, was inspired to organise the walk by her 18-month old granddaughter Honey, who suffers from the disease.
The 10 walkers braved the bad weather and wore fancy dress.
Mrs Yates, a supermarket customer service assistant, said: “It was a fun day, everyone had a very good time.
“I wanted to help people like my granddaughter, she was my inspiration.”
