A MOTORIST escaped serious injuries after his car rolled over and hit a lamppost in Orpington this morning (November 10).
Emergency services were called to Crofton Road at the junction of Newstead Avenue and the man was taken to the Princess Royal University Hospital, Farnborough.
He was believed to be suffering from a dislocated shoulder.
The road was closed from around 4.40am to 6am while the incident was dealt with and the green Peugeot 307 was removed.
Bromley Council was called to fix the lamppost which was said to be leaning very close to the road.
