Beckenham motorbike accident: Pensioner 'stable' in hospital
A PENSIONER was seriously injured after being in collision with a motorbike in Beckenham.
The 75-year-old woman was crossing Upper Elmers End Road when the accident happened at 5.08pm on Friday (November 7).
She sustained a serious head injury, suspected broken pelvis and a suspected broken foot and was taken to Mayday Hospital, Croydon.
The woman is still in the hospital and her condition is described as stable.
Upper Elmers End Road was closed from the junction with Altyre Way to the junction with Abbots Way until 10.57pm.
- The 27-year-old biker was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.
He has been bailed to return to Bromley police station on January 23 next year.
