It was a Thamesmead late late show as The Mead gained three vital points with a superb stoppage time goal at a very wet Bayliss Avenue against Hillingdon Borough.
Scott Mulholland put Mead ahead on 43 minutes with an accurately struck free kick.
Despite having the edge in an entertaining game, Mead had to wait until 89 minutes to double their advantage.
A cross from Sam Thomas, marking his return to action this season coming offthe bench, reached the feet of Rikki Cable who only had to tap home from close range.
However, from the restart, Alec Geldiking pulled a goal back for the visitors.
But in a frantic final few seconds, Rikki Cable produced a sublime piece of individual football to complete the scoring and seal the victory.
The tricky Mead forward beat four defenders before firing home the third goal and secure all three points.
Thamesmead line up: Kessell, Merridan, Collins, Brown, Watts, Tarrant , Mulholland , Knight, Dimmock, Cable, Smith Subs: Moore, Thomas, Wood
