A PC is busy pounding the streets of an estate in his new role as the area’s neighbourhood beat officer.
In his new role, PC Chris Sims, will be out on the streets of Kings Farm, Singlewell, Whitehall and Woodlands all in Gravesham.
The 25-year-old has worked in the area as a section patrol officer since joining Kent police five years ago.
He will be working alongside PCSOs Tioni King (COR), Darren Jenner and Mitchell Hodges.
PC Sims said: “I am thoroughly enjoying my beat and have found that each of the communities which fall within it have their own specific needs and challenges.
“With the help of my PCSOs, we are already trying out new ways of dealing with the priorities the community have highlighted such as anti-social behaviour in the Windmill Hill area of Gravesend and parking issues outside local schools.
