YOUNGSTERS have received top tips on how to stay safe this autumn.
Pupils at Cecil Road Primary School, Cecil Road, Gravesend has a visit from north Kent traffic officer, PC Chris Fuller and Northfleet police community support officer, Faye Mills.
At a special assembly on November 6, around 60 children aged five and six were given advice on how they can stay safe as they cross the road.
They were also given high-visibility stickers and reflectors to wear whilst out and about in the dark.
PC Fuller said: “By getting across simple but valuable lessons in road safety in this way we can make it fun rather than a chore, which will help them remember what we have said.”
The event was organised as part of the Kent Police Safer Autumn campaign.
