POLICE want to trace a man thought to have connections with Gravesend on suspicion of rape.
Detectives from Rochdale CID want to speak to Jack Herring, 19, of no fixed address, in connection with the rape of a 16-year-old girl in Littleborough on February 13.
He was arrested in April and bailed to return to police on June 27, but went missing sometime before that date.
He is described as a white, about 5ft 5in tall with a medium build, short dark hair, and a strong Irish accent.
Police say he used to live in Kent and believe he has connections with Gravesend in particular.
