A GROUP of adults is trying to turn the clock back to its primary school days.
They will be attending a reunion for people in their class in 1979 at Bedonwell Junior School, in Bedonwell Road, Belvedere.
One of the organisers, Lindsay Carruthers (nee Samaroo), said: “We have already tracked down 15 of us and eight of us met with our families and had a wonderful time.
“We had great fun reliving memories and all agreed 1979 was our favourite school year.”
Also at the summer meeting was their Year 3 teacher John Watson.
Classmate Erica Westhannen (nee Morriss) added: “We recalled the nicknames Mr Watson had for us, including Zebedee, Violent Elizabeth, Microbe and Boney.”
Now they are trying to track down their missing 15 classmates for another reunion this month.
If you think you were one of the class of 1979, email bedonwell reunion@yahoo.co.uk for details of the event.
